The policy
Six rules, and they apply to every programme the Institute runs.
Refunds are pro rata
Where a refund is due, it is the share of the programme fee that corresponds to the scheduled weeks of the programme still to run on the date the withdrawal takes effect.
If you withdraw
You may withdraw from a programme at any time by writing to the admissions office. Fees are refunded on the pro-rata basis above.
If the Institute withdraws you
Where a student is repeatedly unable to complete assigned projects or attend sessions, the Institute may withdraw them from the programme. Fees are refunded on the same pro-rata basis.
Certification needs full completion
A credential is issued only when the whole programme, including its final project, has been completed. A partial refund does not come with a partial certificate.
When no refund is due
No refund is due once a programme has been completed, or where a participant is excluded for a breach of the Terms and Conditions (section 6).
How refunds are paid
Refunds are returned through the route the fee was paid by — PayPal or Razorpay — in the currency it was paid in.
Asking for a refund
Write to the admissions office from the email address on your application, name the programme and cohort, and say whether you are withdrawing. A person will reply with the amount and the date it will be paid.
